It’s me Rakshita Santosh, THE MIND behind HUESOFCOLORS. Currently, I live in CHICAGO USA.

This is my little personal space where I share all my Honest opinions & Product Recommendations regarding Skincare, Haircare & Beauty which is very essential part of our lifestyle. Since few years, I have been learning a lot about this industry and enhancing my knowledge on products and its performance. I will continue to do so and help all my readers who refer this page for concerns regarding beauty essentials.

HOW ALL IT STARTED

I was working as a Network Engineer in INFOSYS. I decided to take a break to give quality time to my kids during their initial part of life. In the meantime, we as a family moved to the US, that is when I developed interest for BEAUTY & MAKEUP. I got curious in knowing more about makeup techniques and trying different makeup looks. The knowledge I was gaining kept me pushing to learn more and more.

              I attended a number of online makeup courses as well to gain my confidence in doing my own makeup. It dint stop there!!! I started gaining more interest in learning about skincare and haircare. This led me in following a routine to my healthy skincare and haircare journey.

               We returned to INDIA in 2016 which is when I got introduced to many homegrown Indian brands which are into Organic & Natural skincare & haircare.

In this course of path, I gained more knowledge in Makeup, skincare & hair care products and how one can build a beauty regimen to enhance their Beauty & confidence.

This journey has been my motivation to begin my Own Blog, so that I can share all my experiences here.
